Shipka, the Monument of Liberty and Buzludzha all found their way into the same day. I kept stopping to look around. There was no shortage of reasons to.
Buzludzha looked strange and quiet on the ridge, while the Monument of Liberty stood above the pass. Seeing both in one outing gave me plenty to take in, even before the views between them.

Days like this bring me back to how much I love Bulgaria. I do not always have a long story to tell afterwards. Sometimes I am simply happy I went, and happy I took the camera along.
I am grateful to have this one recorded. Thank you, God, for another day out and another memory of home.
