Website terms

These terms describe the current personal archive. They do not cover bookings, paid services, merchandise or organised trips.

About this archive

This website shares personal mountain experiences, photographs and reflections. It is not a guiding service. Stories describe particular days and should not be treated as current route instructions.

Routes and conditions

Weather, snow, access and trail conditions change. Assess current conditions and your own skills and equipment before deciding whether to follow a route. If GPX files are added, they will be identified as recorded tracks with known limitations, rather than guarantees of safe passage.

Photographs and writing

You may link to the public pages. Please request permission before republishing photographs or substantial passages, except where applicable law permits their use. Credits and any specific licences shown with an item take precedence.

External links

Linked services operate independently and have their own terms and privacy policies.

If you spot an error in a location, caption or story, use the channels listed on the Contact page to identify the page and explain the correction.

Nothing here is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
