This time it was just my sister Anya and me, out exploring somewhere new close to home. We followed the rough little trail around the Serpent Holes outside Sliven.
We stayed outside the holes, looked in and carried on. There was plenty to see along the trail itself, including the upper and lower Serpent Waterfall and a few rocks we could not resist climbing.
It was a small outing, and a good one. I liked having the time with Anya and finding something new without travelling far from home.
At the end, she led us back. It was her first time taking charge of the navigation. No complaints from me. That is a nice detail to have saved from the day.
