Razboina was the plan again. And again, I did not get there. This time the path we were looking for simply was not there, so Rado, Maria, Kaloyan and I carried on exploring the forest instead.
We ended up walking almost twenty kilometres through thick woodland, wild ground and roads that barely felt like roads. There was plenty to look at without a summit to aim for.
Animal tracks kept appearing along the way. Some were small, others much larger. They made the forest feel busy, even when we could not see who had been there before us.
Mostly, we wandered, enjoyed each other’s company and looked to see what was around the next corner. I am glad we let the day become that. Razboina can wait; this was still a good few hours outside with friends.
